Six weeks after gracing the world with a Royal kiss, Kate and William returned to Buckingham Palace on Saturday to celebrate the Trooping of the Colour.
All eyes were on the newlyweds, but Saturday’s appearance was all about the Queen, who is annually honoured by the event which recognizes the monarch’s official birthday. The event marked the 85th birthday of the Queen, who has reigned since 1952.
Kate’s style was in full force, wearing a double-breasted cream jacket and black hat, as she travelled through the streets of London with other members of the Royal family. William, was not at her side during the ride, however, as he was participating as an honorary colonel on horseback.
Kate sat next to her step mother-in-law, Camilla and giggled while chatting on the short journey with Prince Harry and Prince Andrew.
